The Nouvelle Comédie de Genève takes place in the new district of the Eaux-Vives railway station. Traditionally a theater is the place where artists and public meet during performances. For the Nouvelle Comédie, the wish is to create a place more convivial, more alife, plural and dynamic, at any time, where people work on the creation of productions on the everyday. The building offers a unique façade profile on the urban space giving it a strong identity, like a landmark in the city. The public space of the esplanade penetrates into the theater disolving the limit between the life of the theater and the life of the city.
